WHAT MEDICAL BENEFITS ARE PROVIDED UNDER THE LONGSHORE & HARBOR WORKERS’ COMPENSATION ACT (LHWCA)?

Video Transcription:

The Longshore Act provides for medical benefits reasonably and medically necessary and recommended typically by an authorized treating physician for an injured worker's injuries depending on the body part. Any recommendation, whether it be for something as simple as prescription medications to aquatherapy, to physical therapy if recommended by your choice of physician, it should be authorized by the insurance company.
